Our Dear Ministry Partners,
Greetings from Manila, Philippines!
It is sad to let you know that we are still in Manila waiting for some documents from South Africa. The Non-profit Organization registration number that we expected to come out soon hasn’t come through yet. Our leaders said that NPO office returned our Constitution and Bylaws for minor revision. As of today, our board members are meeting to work on the Constitution then re-submit it as soon as they can before the end of this week. It would take another 3 weeks to wait for the result. Without the NPO registration number, we cannot apply for a 3-year Volunteer’s visa. The rest of the documents (e.g. bank statement, medical certificate and others) are easy to get. They are from our side.
Please pray that God will help us through this process, strengthen our faith and extend our patience. For most missionaries, getting a visa is a mission in itself but we will be in South Africa in God’s perfect time. We are packed and ready go.
Sheba and I celebrated our 13th Wedding Anniversary on Monday, December 3. We thank the Lord daily for each other, and for the family, ministry and people He has given us.
Meanwhile, we are continually helping a church building construction at Grace Berean Church-Las Pinas, Metro Manila as well as teaching the Word on weekends. We also received invitations to visit churches and encourage them about mission.
Thank God that despite our distance we can keep coordinating with our national leaders through internet our ministry activities and plans.
Thank you for your patience, prayers and continued financial partnership with us. It is such an honor to be serving the Lord with you all.
For the sake of the Call,
Dean, Sheba, Shedea and Shedesh Padayhag

Email Update: Thanksgiving and Request

Dear Co-Laborers,
We are forever grateful for your partnership in reaching the lost and edifying the saints here in South Africa and neighboring countries. Your prayer and intercession are great encouragements to us. The Lord honors the prayers of the saints like you. May you continue to experience the joy in praying and interceding for us and our ministry. Sheba and Shedea left for Philippines on October 21. Sheba is now 8 months pregnant. The doctor scheduled her for caesarian operation on the 12th of December. We need your prayers for the whole procedure and also for the provision of the needed funds. We will be having another girl. Shedea is doing great and enjoys her study at grandma’s preparatory school. I’ll join Sheba and Shedea on December 2 after the national conference and Bible school graduation in South Africa. The ministry is going and growing. Though we will be on home assignment for 5 months, but everyone is in place to carry on the ministry. Thanks to our training program. On October 21, I resigned as a pastor of Grace Berean Church-Kempton Park and turned over the ministry to my deputy pastor, Kennedy Mandaza. He is also the chairman of the board of our national ministry and a principal of school by profession. Pastors Mdluli and Hlatswayo will be in-charge of Grace Berean Bible School in our absence. These ministers will partner with us to plant more churches when we come back next year.

For the sake of His call ... Serving the Lord together in love
Like any other foreign land: all things are different, people are new and places are unfamiliar yet the ultimate goal is the same: to save the lost and to edify the saints. As a young missionary, it is not just a mere adventure but a challenge of faith that should be responded to with wisdom and courage.
Having learned some of the interesting details of South Africa’s biological diversity, its wealth and treasure, its mountains and conservation areas, its toll roads and cities, all of which illustrate the riches and variety in this wonderful country, our hearts remain excited to go back there and be part of the rainbow country again. We believe that on this second term of our mission in South Africa there are big opportunities for us to reach to different kinds of people and introduce to them the wonderful message of Grace.
Our primary goal in South Africa is to be able to establish a strong urban church in Johannesburg city. We are equipping ourselves with some strategic plans and approaches to accomplish this goal.
Part of this plan is to mentor qualified individuals to help achieve this goal. Evangelism, indoctrination, training and discipleship are some of the few approaches that we have planned to use. Our music and evangelistic team will also contribute to the propagation and advertisement of our ministry. Another ministry that we are going to continue is the youth and children’s ministry.
As the Lord guides, it is our heart’s desire also to establish urban churches in other cities. Dean directs the work in South Africa and represents the South African ministry to TCM.
